Service NSW

Service NSW was set up in 2013 by the NSW Government to make it easier for NSW residents and businesses to transact with government.

Service NSW has been shaped by our customers - who want easier access to government services, faster service and a single point of contact.

Service channels

Service NSW offers a broad range of NSW Government services and transactions through:

  • An easy-to-use customer friendly website and a free App available for iPhone and Android phone users. This free app helps you securely renew your vehicle registration. The app also includes a free registration check tool, registration renewal reminder service and a search function to help you find your nearest Service Centre and eSafety Check station.
  • 24 service centres throughout the state with extended opening hours.
  • A telephone service answered by a customer service representative based in NSW.

Services offered

Service NSW offers more than 800 transactions to the residents and businesses of NSW including driver licences, vehicle registrations, boat licences, birth certificates, home building licences, housing payments, fine payments, Seniors’ Cards and much more.

More services are being added all the time.
