Strong Spring Sales Results in Millers Point

Property NSW, on behalf of Family and Community Services, today announced the sale of seven properties as part of the Millers Point sales program.

The mix of terraces and duplex apartments were sold by McGrath Estate Agents via auction on Wednesday evening.

Individual results are as follows:

  • 30 Kent Street (two duplex apartments with courtyards) $3 million  
  • 5 Windmill Street: $2.4 million
  • 75 Windmill Street: $2.68 million
  • 85 Lower Fort Street: $2.57 million
  • 52 Gloucester Street: $2 million
  • 63 Kent Street $2.53 million
  • 26 Argyle Place $3.561 million

Proceeds from the Millers Point sales program have delivered over $467 million for investment in new social housing developments in NSW.

Conservation Management Plans (CMPs) endorsed by the NSW Heritage Council are included in contracts for sale for all heritage listed properties.  These contracts ensure new property owners are fully informed of their responsibilities when purchasing a heritage listed property.

As of August 2017, a total of 655 new social housing dwellings have been completed and 422 dwellings are currently under construction as a result of the Millers Point sales.

These fit-for-purpose dwellings are located in a number of areas across the State including Coffs Harbour, Penrith, Jannali and Wollongong.
