Strong interest continues for Millers Point properties

Property NSW, on behalf of Family and Community Services, today announced the sale of four properties in Millers Point 

Built between 1833-1834 by a local publican and former convict, Numbers 25 and 27 Lower Fort Street (Linsley Terrace) were sold as a single property by McGrath Estate Agents for $5.575 million.

The below properties were also auctioned by McGrath this week:

  • 10-12A High Street – block of four apartments: $5.3 million
  • 30-32A High Street – block of four apartments: $5.0 million
  • 47 Windmill Street – three-bedroom terrace: $2.1 million

A total of 176 properties have been sold in Millers Point, raising circa $545 million for investment in new social housing developments in NSW.

As of 28 February 2018, a total of 839 units have been completed and 320 units are currently under construction as a result of the Millers Point sales.

Conservation Management Plans (CMPs) endorsed by the NSW Heritage Council are included in contracts for sale for all heritage listed properties. These contracts ensure new property owners are fully informed of their responsibilities when purchasing a heritage listed property.
