New Millers Point Properties Listed

Government Property NSW, on behalf of Family and Community Services, today announced the launch of a further 10 terrace properties for sale in Millers Point.

Conservation Management Plans (CMPs) endorsed by the NSW Heritage Council are included in contracts for sale for all heritage listed properties in Millers Point. These contracts ensure new property owners are fully informed of their responsibilities when purchasing a heritage listed property.

The following terraces enter the market today:

75 Kent Street – six bedrooms

81 Kent Street – six bedrooms

123 Kent Street – four bedrooms

7 Dalgety Terrace – six bedrooms

9 Dalgety Terrace (right) – three bedrooms

20 Merriman Street – three bedrooms

22 Merriman Street – one bedroom

“This new tranche of properties will appeal to buyers because it offers a broad mix of properties across five different precinct locations,” said Government Property NSW CEO, Brett Newman.

The properties will be auctioned on 8 June and will be marketed by McGrath Estate Agents.

Following last week’s auctions, a total of 80 Millers Point properties have now been sold, delivering more than $218 million for reinvestment into social housing. The following properties went to auction on Wednesday, 4 May:

9 Lower Fort Street – sold for $6.1 million.

13 Lower Fort Street – sold for $4 million.

35 Lower Fort Street – sold for $3.6 million.

Proceeds from the sale of Millers Point properties will fund 1,500 new social housing dwellings across the State, with 590 new fit-for-purpose social housing dwellings funded to date.
