New members appointed to Place Management Board

Property NSW today announced the appointment of two new independent board members to the body responsible for the success of Sydney’s most iconic Harbour foreshore precincts.

Jill Davies and Jennifer Lambert have been appointed to the board of Place Management NSW, part of Property NSW, for a three-year term, while board Chair, Helen Coonan, has been reappointed for one year.

The Board of Place Management NSW is responsible for setting the strategic direction of Place Management NSW, and overseeing world-class places and experiences for the 40 million visitors a year to The Rocks and Darling Harbour.

These appointments bring to the board greater diversity and a wealth of expertise across property management, urban design and place-making, financial management, events and tourism.

Jill Davies has broad advisory experience across a range of industries, specialising in global major events. She is an advisor to the International Olympic Committee and the Commonwealth Games Federation. She currently serves on the board of the Sydney Olympic Park Authority and the Management Review Group for a regional Roads and Maritime Services infrastructure project.

Jennifer Lambert has extensive business and leadership experience at the senior executive and board level across a range of listed and non-listed companies and not-for-profit organisations. She is the former Chief Financial Officer of 151 Property and a current board member of Investa Office Management and Mission Australia.

Helen Coonan was first appointed to the board as Chair in 2015.

Martin Hoffman, Secretary, DFSI, and Sam Romaniuk, CEO of Place Management, will continue to serve on the board. CEO of Property NSW, Brett Newman, will step down from the board.
