Millers Point sales program delivers over $21 million for social housing

Property NSW, on behalf of Family and Community Services, today announced the Millers Point sales program has delivered a further $21.9 million to fund new social housing dwellings across NSW.

Thirteen loft-style apartments, located on Gloucester Street, were sold by McGrath Estate Agents via Expression of Interest.

Individual apartment results are as follows:

46 Gloucester Street: $1.62 million

46a Gloucester Street: $1.85 million

50 Gloucester Street: $1.44 million

50a Gloucester Street: $1.80 million

52a Gloucester Street: $1.91 million  

54 Gloucester Street: $1.46 million

54a Gloucester Street: $1.73 million

54b Gloucester Street: $1.46 million

54c Gloucester Street: $1.76 million   

56 Gloucester Street: $1.51 million  

56a Gloucester Street: $1.80 million  

56b Gloucester Street: $1.64 million  

56c Gloucester Street: $1.90 million

To date, 1,077 new, fit-for-purpose social housing dwellings have been completed or are under construction in a number of areas including Liverpool, Parramatta, Sutherland, Wollongong and Fairfield.

A total of 151 properties have been sold as part of the Millers Point sales program, delivering $422 million.

Conservation Management Plans (CMPs) endorsed by the NSW Heritage Council are included in contracts for sale for all heritage listed properties. These contracts ensure new property owners are fully informed of their responsibilities when purchasing a heritage listed property.

Any maintenance or restoration on the properties must be in accordance with the CMPs.
