30 days to pay
NSW Government has introduced a policy of 30 day payment terms to make it fairer for small businesses to work with government agencies.
The NSW Government has introduced a policy requiring government agencies to pay small businesses within 30 days of receiving a correctly rendered invoice. This will improve support to small business by ensuring they are paid in a timely manner.
NSW government agencies are required to report on their payment performance.
If you supply goods and services to the Department of Finance and Services (DFS) you can register as a small business as long as you meet the eligibility criteria.
If you supply goods and services to the New South Wales Department of Trade & Investment, Regional Infrastructure and Services (Trade & Investment) you can register as a small business as long as you meet the eligibility criteria.
